Terms of Use

The service

DMKatalog is a software service that automatically answers the direct messages and post comments your Instagram professional account receives, using the product catalog and store information you enter. It does not collect payments; it only passes on the payment link or bank transfer details (IBAN and reference code) that you set, and keeps an order record.

Account

Sign-in is passwordless, using a one-time link sent to your email. You are responsible for the security of your email account. To use the service, you need an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) and the authority to connect that account.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the prices, stock, variants and store information in your catalog. The assistant only says what is written there; it does not make up what it doesn't know, and it hands the conversation over to you.
• The accuracy of payment links and IBAN details, checking payments and fulfilling orders are your obligations.
• You are the data controller for your customers' personal data; DMKatalog processes this data only on your behalf. The obligation to inform your customers lies with you.
• You may not use the service for spam, misleading content or the sale of illegal products, or in any way that violates the Instagram Platform Rules.

Platform rules

The service is designed to comply with Meta's rules, and it also applies these rules on your behalf:

• A customer who writes “dur” (Turkish for “stop”) receives no automated messages; they can restart them by writing “DEVAM” (Turkish for “continue”).
• If more than 24 hours have passed since the customer's last message, the assistant does not write (only you can).
• No automated replies are posted under comments; only the author of a comment asking about something such as price, size or stock receives a single private message (default setting; can be changed in the dashboard).
• No one who hasn't written to you or commented is messaged unprompted.

Attempting to disable these protections is a breach of contract. DMKatalog is not responsible if Meta restricts your Instagram account as a result of use that breaks the rules.

Fees

The service is free during the pilot program. After the pilot, a single plan applies; the fee is monthly and fixed, and does not depend on the number of conversations. We will tell you the price at least 30 days before the paid period begins; if you do not accept it, you can leave without paying. A daily limit on automated messages applies to each account and is shown in the dashboard.

Service continuity

We make reasonable efforts to provide the service without interruption; however, we cannot be held responsible for disruptions caused by outages of the Instagram API, the AI provider or the infrastructure. When the assistant cannot reply, the conversation is handed over to you and appears in the dashboard.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time; when you close your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. If these terms are breached, we may suspend or terminate the service.
